The Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust re-launches photography competition A Review

imageAfter three successful years, Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is re-launching their yearly photography competition with a new perspective. This time WWT has launched a new website, new categories and fantastic news prizes.
The main motto behind the competition is to encourage visitors to take up photography. For that they are offering a day with Chris Packham, their Vice President and well known photographer and TV presenter. Prizes include four nights holiday to New York State with Continental Airlines to go birding along the Great Lakes Seaway trail, an activity week holiday to North Devon, a wildlife photography workshop in Europe courtesy of Tatra Photograpy, outdoor gear from Regatta, delicious goodies from Jordans Cereals and a variety of experiences from Smartbox.
Visitors can find tips on how to take prize winning photographs at the nine WWT centres and also on the trust’s new wwt.org.uk/photo website. Contestants can post their images at the website, receive personal feedbacks from the judging panel, share them via social networking sites and vote for People’s Choice Awards. The national winner will announced at WWT London Wetland Centre.
