Quality Content. You heard this countless time. Quality content does bring busload of visitors to your blog -This should go without saying but needs to be reinforced.
Obviously if you write quality content your readers will want more of the same. Useful, original and interesting content should leave your readers hungering for more. Work on the quality of your blog and you’ll find that things like traffic levels and the numbers of pages being read should look after themselves and be on the rise.
There are no doubt other techniques for increasing page views. One of it is humor (humour) or jokes page. There's a saying, if you can't write, tell a joke. Be funny. Push yourself not only to tell a joke but tell a ridiculously funny joke. And imagine the traffic potential if you post that funny joke on your blog and promote it. If done properly, your funny joke can kick up storm and become viral. That is the time to enjoy the reward of getting massive number of visitors to your viral humor page.
If you enjoy jokes but a dummy when it come to telling joke, don't fret. Google all the best hitter jokes and compiled them into group of joke category and post it on your blog. Of course, do provide credit to the original source. Not only you get traffic, the original page will also get a link and traffic juice from you.
Another humor page that can be extremely viral, is the funny photo or funny picture. Capture them or ripped it from other place (ask owner for permission to republish first) and post it on your blog. The owner (with proper credit given) probably doesn't mind getting his material circulated around because he know that his stuff will get wider audience or exposure.
Okay, the whole idea of being viral is that when a blog reader came across your blog and see that the jokes or pictures are funny, he or she will be happy. Happy readers don't mind spreading the link to his or he friend or fellow forumers. And that link is your blog link. The reward, thus, would be getting links and traffic, for FREE.
